How Does Tactical RevOps Pricing Work?

Aug 18, 2025

One of the first questions I get is: “How much does Tactical RevOps cost?”

The short answer: it depends—because no two businesses are at the same stage of maturity.

But I believe in transparency. So here’s a straightforward look at what drives costs up or down, why some providers are more expensive (or cheaper), and where Tactical RevOps fits.

What Drives RevOps Costs Up?

Your investment may increase when:

  • Complexity is high – Multiple systems, messy data, global teams. It takes more time to untangle and align everything.
  • Scope is unclear or shifting – When projects start without clear goals, things can spiral. Defining success upfront always saves time (and money).
  • You need technical specialists – Projects that require developers or deep integrations add cost. (For context: I’m not a developer. I focus on strategy, process, and team enablement. If you need dev work, I’ll connect you to the right resource.)
  • Your data needs heavy clean-up – Data quality issues are one of the top reasons projects take longer and cost more.

What Keeps RevOps Costs Down?

Your project stays affordable when:

  • Scope is clear and focused – e.g., “Help us build a forecasting cadence” or “Clean up pipeline stages.”
  • Data is in decent shape—or you’re willing to start simple – You don’t need to fix everything at once. Start with what’s actionable.
  • You’re ready to build iteratively – No need to create an enterprise solution before you’ve reached enterprise scale. Build for where you are now.

Why Are Some RevOps Providers So Expensive?

Larger firms often:

  • Add layers of overhead
  • Bring in teams of specialists you may not need
  • Focus on big-enterprise tech stacks that require heavy customization

Keep in mind, this can make sense if you’re already at enterprise scale—but for early-stage companies, it’s usually overkill.

Why Are Some Providers So Cheap?

On the flip side, bargain pricing often means:

  • You’re paying for task execution (CRM admin, data enrichment, etc.) but not strategy or enablement
  • You may get junior talent with limited experience in guiding operational maturity
  • You risk short-term fixes that create long-term headaches

Where Do My Prices Fall?

I’m deliberately in the middle.

I’m not the cheapest (because I bring RevOps strategy, not just CRM button-pushing).

I’m not the most expensive (because I’m a team of one—so you’re not paying for overhead).

My Standard Rate

Most of my work falls in the range of $180–$225 per hour, depending on:

  • Scope and complexity – The more moving parts, the more time and strategy involved.
  • Duration of the engagement –
    • Short-term or one-off projects are usually priced at the higher end because of the quick ramp-up and focused delivery.
    • Longer-term engagements or fractional contracts come in closer to the lower end, since ongoing work builds efficiency and momentum.

Typical Investment Ranges

  • Assessment: $15K–$30K (Based on team size, data, and variety of tools)
  • Project Support: $3K–$35K (Depends on scope and complexity)
  • Fractional Support: $7K–$15K/mo (Based on hours, tools, and duration)

💡 If an assessment leads into a fractional service model, I apply a discount to the monthly retainer as part of the transition.

Why Do I Price This Way?

  • Direct, senior-level support – No handoffs. You work with me from start to finish.
  • Practical and tactical – Not bloated systems you don’t need. I help you build scalable, sustainable revenue operations foundations.
  • Flexible and transparent models – Flat project fee, fractional retainer, or hourly. We’ll structure it based on what makes the most sense for your team and growth stage.
